Bins go out tomorrow. You're the only one who's noticed. Again.
Noticing is a job. Nobody puts it on the list.
Calendar, chores, lists and notes for the two of you. Added by voice, shared in a tap, and the only app that checks the job is really done.
From $2.99 a month · 7-day free trial · No hardware required · Cancel anytime.
Founding households: the first 1,000 homes get 3 months of Plus free, then it renews unless you cancel.
Benudge moves the remembering out of one person's head and into a system you both can see. Then it closes the loop with proof.

Hold the mic and talk the way you think: "Sam, dentist Tuesday 3pm. Milk and eggs. Bins every Thursday." Benudge files each piece in the right place and shows you the result before it saves.

Your partner gets one link and one tap to join. From then on the calendar, the Today board, lists and chores are shared. Nudges arrive at a moment they can act, including on your Apple Watch.

Base households complete with a tap. Plus households snap a photo and get a verdict: Fail, Pass or Excellent. The person who did it gets the points. The other gets a ❤. No conversation required.
Three everyday scenarios, two honest answers each. In 20 seconds you'll see whether you're the one noticing, doing or checking, and how much of it nobody else can see. The app runs all 13 cards and builds your Home Profile from them.

Noticing is a job. Nobody puts it on the list.

Checking is quiet work. It's still work.

You don't need a spreadsheet. You already know.
Talk or type: "dentist Tuesday 3pm for Sam, add milk and eggs, bins every Thursday 7pm." Benudge turns it into an event, two list items and a scheduled chore. You review before anything is added. Nothing is created silently.
A shared calendar with a colour per person and a daily agenda. The Today board shows one column each, so both of you can see who has what. Chores rotate between you and can be handed off in a tap.
Snap a photo when the job is done. Benudge grades it Fail, Pass or Excellent. Excellent earns a +5 Spotless bonus and your partner gets a ❤. Snooze twice and the chore is offered to your partner at 1.2× points.
Talk for two minutes about your day. Wake up to a short summary and at most five action items, three on a low-Energy day. Energy is a plain-words estimate from sleep, load and calendar. It is private to you and never affects points.
Set a together reward. It unlocks when both of you hit your own targets. Prefer a scoreboard? Head-to-head is opt-in, with a Sunday winner. Love-notes send a silent ❤ when your partner takes care of something you care about.
Benudge notices when each person actually gets a job done, from the Done tap, the Debrief and the gaps in their calendar. After three repeats it stops nudging inside that window, and anyone checking the board sees: "Don't worry, Sam usually has the bins out by 11pm. It's only 9:30." Slip past your own window and you get two nudges; then the chore is offered to someone else at 1.2× points. Your pattern is private to you. On every plan.
Benudge asks one short question, like "Groceries: delivered or do you go?" Tap an answer or say it in your Debrief. It tunes your captures, Debrief, lists and errands to how your house actually runs. Private by default, with a share toggle. On every plan.
Every list app makes the overloaded person do more managing. Benudge asks your partner, so you don't have to. And it checks the job got done.
One person keeps the list in their head and hands out the tasks.
You say it once. It lands on both phones as an event, a list item or a chore.
Anyone in the house can tap a box that says done.
A photo, a verdict (Fail, Pass or Excellent), and a ❤ for your partner.
Someone checks the clock at 9:30 and sends the "did you do the bins?" text.
"Don't worry, Sam usually has them out by 11." No nudge until he's past his own window; then two, then it moves on at 1.2×.
The reminder keeps firing at you until you give up on the app.
Snooze twice and the chore is offered to your partner at 1.2× points.
Eleven things still in your head at 8pm.
Talk for two minutes. Wake up to five things you can actually do.

Nothing here is sold by benudge, and nothing here is required. The app lists tested beacons from vendors on Amazon; you buy from them at their price and pair in the app.
From recommended vendors on Amazon
Small Bluetooth beacons for the washer, dishwasher and bin. Walk up and the chore starts itself. Buy any of the tested models we list, then pair them in the app. Proximity is included in Plus and Full House; Base households can add it for $2.99 a month. Android proximity at launch; iPhone ranging coming soon.
Print your own, or recommended vendors on Amazon
Scan to start a chore. The QR trigger is free for everyone: print the codes from the app onto any label, or order waterproof blanks from a vendor we list.
Included in Plus and Full House
Turn an iPad or Android tablet you already own into a wall board for the calendar and Today board. Leaving it asks for your household PIN, so nobody closes it by accident. No screen to buy.
No. Benudge is a complete organizer without any hardware. Beacons are an optional kit for households that want a chore to start itself when you walk up to the washer. Proximity works on Android now; iPhone is coming soon, and the free QR scan works on both. Beacons are bought from recommended vendors on Amazon, not from us. Base households can add the beacon plan for $2.99 a month. It is included in Plus and Full House.
Everything you share: the calendar, chores, lists, notes, the Today board and points. Your partner never sees your Debrief text, your Energy, your health data or interests you have not shared. Each person's private data sits behind its own encryption key.
No. Benudge shows you what it heard and what it plans to create. You review before anything is added. Speech is recognised on your phone; audio does not leave the device in the default path.
No. Energy is a plain-language estimate from sleep, yesterday's load, today's calendar and a one-tap self-report. It helps size your day. It is not a diagnosis, it never affects points or the leaderboard, and your partner never sees it. On iPhone it reads last night's sleep from Apple Health if you allow it; only the daily total leaves the phone. If you add a workout goal, you can also let it count your steps and exercise minutes toward that goal, and those never feed Energy. On Android you enter sleep by hand in V1.0.
Anthropic Claude, under a zero-data-retention agreement. Your data is not used to train models. Speech-to-text runs on your phone using Apple or Google speech frameworks. A cloud fallback is used only when on-device recognition is unavailable or low-confidence, and it stores nothing.
Every new household can start a 7-day free trial of Plus at the end of setup, through the App Store or Google Play (yearly is pre-selected; monthly is one tap away). We remind you two days before it ends. If you do nothing, Plus renews at the plan you picked: $59.99 a year or $6.99 a month. Prefer Base at $2.99? Choose it before the trial ends, or cancel in the App Store or Google Play. Tap Not now and you still get 7 days of Plus with nothing to pay. Base is never charged automatically after a Plus trial. Founding households (the first 1,000 homes) can claim 3 months of Plus free instead, then Plus renews unless you cancel.
Yes, any time, in the App Store or Google Play. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Cancelling the app subscription also cancels the beacon plan. One payer covers every seat in the household.
Points are awarded the moment you mark a chore done. If grading returns Fail, we add a reversal to your points history. We never silently delete or rewrite past entries. You can retake the photo. Grading is a Plus feature and you can turn it off per chore.
Family hub apps and wall calendars are good for parents of several kids, but they usually mean a subscription plus a screen from $289. Benudge is built for the two adults, starts at $2.99 a month with no hardware, and is the only one that verifies the chore got done. Need a wall board? Plus and Full House include display mode for a tablet you already own.
Yes, through notifications. Smart-timed nudges arrive on your Apple Watch outside your quiet hours and calendar blocks, with Start, Snooze or Hand to partner on the wrist, Done or Tonight for action items, and a ❤ back for love-notes. There is no separate Watch app in V1.0. Android users get the same nudges on the phone.
From when you actually mark a job done, what you say in your Debrief and the free gaps in your calendar. After the same job lands in the same window three times, nudges stop firing inside it; after two quiet weeks it counts as a habit. If you slip past your own window you get two nudges, then the chore is offered to someone else at 1.2× points. Anyone opening the board meanwhile sees a warm "Don't worry, Sam usually has these out by 11" rather than a reason to remind you. Your pattern is private to you, on every plan, and is used only to run benudge, never for ads.
Durable facts from your captures, Debriefs and the daily check-in, like how groceries usually get done or when chores fit best. Open "What benudge remembers" to see each one, share it with your partner or forget it. Everything is private by default, and you can export or delete your data in the app.
Two people. One home. Nobody's the manager.
